Teckla Souik, 99, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Tom Lindner officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Souik was born April 9, 1913, in the town of Sharon, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Theresa (Landowski) Meronek.
She was married to Frank Souik on June 26, 1934. He preceded her in death.
The couple settled in Polonia and later moved to Almond and then Stevens Point.
Survivors include one son, George (Germaine), Sheboygan; one daughter, Marla, Stevens Point; one brother, Alfred Meronek; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by three daughters, Audrey Allen, Lou Ann Medin and Maxine Weberski; four brothers, Alois, Daniel, Ernest and Hubert; six sisters, Lucy Meronek, Laura Grabowski, Clara Bloch, Helen Blarek, Alvina Meronek and Adeline Ziolkowski; and one granddaughter.
