Joan Golla, 69, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, following a long battle with cancer.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Entombment will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Plover from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the services.
Donations in her name should be given to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Golla was born March 25, 1943, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Arnold and Mildred (Niemczyk) Olds. She attended St. Stephen Catholic School and P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to David Golla on Aug. 4, 1962.
She retired as a teacher’s aide in 2002 from Plover-Whiting Elementary School.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Julie (David) Benson, Clinton, Ark., and Carla (Thomas) Betka, Green Bay; one brother, Arnold Olds, Stevens Point; one sister, Kathleen Miller, Stevens Point; her mother-in-law; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean.
