Sonia M. Morgan, 70, Almond, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Almond United Methodist Church in Almond, with the Rev. David Leistra officiating. Burial will be in the East German Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, until the service.

Mrs. Morgan was born Aug. 2, 1942, in the town of Edgington in Illinois, a daughter of the Carolyn (Doyle) Schmidt and the late Walter Schmidt.
She was married to Clifford Morgan on Sept. 26, 1959, in Almond.
She volunteered at Almond-Bancroft Schools as a foster grandparent and was a member of Almond United Methodist Church and the church women.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Cindy (Ron) Takacs, Almond; her mother, Almond; two sisters, Pamela Schmidt, Palm Bay, Fla., and Maxine (Jim) Jannette, Wautoma; two brothers, James (Carolyn) Schmidt and Randy Schmidt, both of Almond; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Samuel.
