Germaine T. Corwin, 83, Carmi, Ill., a town of Hull native and sister of a Stevens Point woman, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.
Services were held at St. Polycarp Church in Carmi, Ill. Burial was in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi, Ill.
Mrs. Corwin was born Oct. 8, 1929, in the town of Hull, a daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Knitter)” Knich.
She was married to Loy G. Corwin on Dec. 1, 1956, in Waukesha.
She worked at General Electric in Milwaukee as a secretary for a number of years.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Christine Sommerfeld, Iowa City, Iowa; one sister, Violet Kawleski, Stevens Point; and one granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
