I don’t know about you, but my handwriting has become terrible. I’m embarrassed to pick up a pen and paper and try to write anything these days.
It’s taken several years for my script to go from legibility to scribble. I blame my computer. And my advancing years. And maybe the NFL replacement referees.
In elementary school the nuns spent lots of time making us conform to the standard of the day – the Palmer Method of handwriting. We actually got grades for it. The good sisters taught us to be proud of how well we wrote things down on paper.
