Lloyd J. Hunt, 83, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Care Partners in Whiting.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Entombment will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery Columbarium in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mr. Hunt was born Jan. 15, 1929, in the town of New Hope, a son of the late Michael and Lauretta (Rubbelke) Hunt. He was a 1948 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point.
He was married to Shirley Smith on Aug. 25, 1962, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
He worked as a cabinet maker for Joerns Furniture in Stevens Point for more than 40 years before retiring.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Holy Name Society and the Steelworkers’ Union, and was active in the Boy Scouts program.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Kenneth (Kelly), Plover; three daughters, Mary (James) Klesmith, Susan Hunt and Barbara Hunt, all of Stevens Point; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Hunt, Stevens Point; two sisters, Sister Louise Hunt, Green Bay, and Marge (Maurice) Kryshak, Wausau; three grandsons; two stepgranddaughters; and one great-grandson.
He was also preceded in death by one son, James; one sister, Doris Konopacky; and two brothers, Clifford and Patrick.
