Christine K. Newby, 94, Plover, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Point Manor of the Stevens Point Care Center.
No public services will be held.

Mrs. Newby was born March 13, 1918, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Michael and Stella Feltz.
She was married to Lando Newby in 1937. He died in 1997.
She worked at the Portage County Health Care Center and St. Michael’s Hospital before her retirement.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She has resided at Point Manor for the past four years.
Survivors include one daughter, Penelope (Jack) Eckerson, Plover; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary; and one grandson.
