Andrew R. “Ike” Ziaya, 71, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mr. Ziaya was born June 2, 1941, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Andrew Sr. and Esther (Rybarczyk) Ziaya. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point in 1960.
He was married to Phyllis Kotolski on July 10, 1965, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
He worked for the Stevens Point School District for more than 30 years, retiring in 2000.
He ushered at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point for many years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lisa (John) Livsey, Brodhead, and Lori (Joe) Mocadlo, Bancroft; one son, Todd Ziaya, Stevens Point; three brothers, Dick (Gloria) and Raymond (Dawn), both of Stevens Point, and Larry (Loretta), Hancock; two sisters, Patricia (Dan) Schroeder, Rosholt, and Linda (Roy) Taubitz, Almond; and seven grandchildren.
