Richard D. “Dick” Schlice, 79, Kewaskum, a Stevens Point native, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Horizon Hospice in Mequon.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum, with the Rev. Eric Kirkegaard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, until the service.
Memorials should be given to Kewaskum Youth Sports.

Mr. Schlice was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Stevens Point, a son of the late James and Martha (Sommers) Schlice.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He was married to Shirley Kalepp on May 5, 1962, in Abbotsford.
He was employed by the West Bend Company in West Bend, retiring in 1995 after 30 years of service.
Mr. Schlice was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum, Moose Lodge West Bend 1398 and the Kohlsville Sportsmen’s Club. He served as a village of Kewaskum trustee and on the Police and Fire Commission Board for many years.
He was a founder the Kewaskum Booster Club.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Debra (John) Hill, Cypress, Texas, Cathy (John) Brunnquell, Port Washington, Bonnie (Keith) Herman, Wayne, Wis., and Marty (Dean) Kehl, Watertown; one son, Randy (Missy), Kewaskum; one sister, Catherine Lee, Wisconsin Rapids; and 15 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Glenn, Don, Bob, Bill and Jim; and two sisters, Margaret Trombley and Dorothy Knudson.
