Elizabeth Betty Pulchinski, 86, Brookfield, formerly of Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, in Brookfield.

Mrs. Pulchinski was born Feb. 28, 1926, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joseph and Christine (Grassy) Walter. She attended St. Joseph Parochial School in Stevens Point and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1943.
She was married to Emil Pulchinski on Nov. 5, 1955, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died on Sept. 27, 1995.
She worked for many years at Hardware Mutual Insurance Co.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point where she was a directress and former officer of the Rosary Society. She also volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Drives and did volunteer work through the RSVP program at Lincoln Center. She was also a city poll worker for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynn (Paul) Vanchena; and three granddaughters.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Jeanette Loehr; and one brother, Don Walter.
