Mr. Wahn was born Jan. 17, 1932, in Milwaukee. He graduated from St. Sebastian Grade School and Pius XI High School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1950 to 1954.
He was married to Janice Bucholz 60 years ago in Hawaii where he was stationed.
He retired from General Motors in 1989 after 32 years as a senior project engineer in California. He earlier worked for GM in the aerospace/missile guidance from 1956 to 1973, working on such programs as mace, NMS, THOR, Apollo, CIV, Titan and sram.
The couple moved to northern Wisconsin after his retirement. In California he was the church activities chairman of the Knights of Columbus. He was involved in church activities.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Robert (Ginger); one daughter, Barbara (Michael) Teaford; one brother, Donald (June); seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Andrew.
