Winifred Rae “Winnie” Doelger, 90, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, in Stevens Point.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Forest Home Cemetery Chapel in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Doelger was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Rexford and Winifred (Evans) Krueger. She graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee as valedictorian in 1940. She graduated from the University of Chicago in 1944 where she studied biology, chemistry and home economics.
She was married to Leon C. Doelger on March 29, 1947, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death.
The lived in Wauwatosa where she was a homemaker until the late 1960s when she joined the Milwaukee County Public School system as a home economics teacher until her retirement.
Following retirement they moved to Germantown. She lived her later years in Stevens Point near her daughter.
She attended area congregational churches. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Society of Mayflower Descendants.
Survivors include one son, Mark (Nancy); one daughter, Elizabeth (Bob) Landerman; and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Timothy.
