Patricia Anne “Pat” Shook, Madison, formerly of Stevens Point, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.
A family service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at St. Stephen Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Boston Funeral Home of Stevens Point assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at bostonfuneralhome.net.
Ms. Shook was born in 1928 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late William and Irma (Krembs) Hope. The family moved to Stevens Point in 1937. She attended Layton Art School in Milwaukee after graduation from high school.
Following her marriage, the family lived in New Mexico, and later in Colorado and California where she pursued artistic interests in jewelry, ceramics, enameling, pastels and painting throughout her life. She moved to Albuquerque, N.M., later in life and then to Madison in 2004.
Survivors include three children, Mikal Shook, Alane (Jim Agans) Fraser and Christopher (D.D. Hawley); and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Hetzer and Faith Zialkowski; and her former husband, Robert Shook.
