Barbara A. Barrows, 81, Pewaukee, a former Stevens Point resident, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Pewaukee, with private burial at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Salvation Army or the Queen of Apostles School building fund.
Becker-Ritter Funeral Homes of Pewaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Barrows was born Oct. 2, 1930, in Green Lake, a daughter of the late Lynn and Julia Wells.
She was married to John Barrows on May 20, 1950, in Green Lake.
They lived in Stevens Point after their marriage, and then in other Wisconsin cities.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, John Jr. (Cindy), Thomas (Cindy), Mark (Lisa), Patrick (Chris) and William (Wendy); two daughters, Debra Schweitzer and Mary (Russell) Klingaman; one sister, Marlene (John) Kaatz; two brothers, Lynn “Butch” (Linda) Wells and Ed (Linda) Wells; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
