Anita Andrae Wray, 96, a lifelong resident of Steven Point, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
A family service was held Wednesday, Sept. 26, at her home.

She was married to Robert Wray. He died in 1979.
For many years Mrs. Wray was a cornerstone for the arts in Stevens Point, which included being a pipe organist, a piano instructor at the university, a founder of the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and a contributor to the history of the area.
Survivors include two daughters, Andrea and Renée; one son, Robert; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
