June M. Smith, 82, Bancroft, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday at Baptist Church in Bancroft.
Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 9, 1930, in the town of Pine Grove, a daughter of the late Albert C. and Irene L. (Erickson) Smith.
She was married to Harold W. Smith on June 14, 1947. He preceded her in death.
She started a child care service in her home in the late 1970s.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Larry (Rosemary), Almond, and James (Carrie), Stevens Point; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
