A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, until the celebration.
A memorial has been established in her name for St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Portage County Historical Society.
Mrs. Siebert was born Dec. 3, 1914, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late John and Jessie (Nelson) Holderegger. She grew up and attended schools in Stevens Point, graduating from Emerson High School in 1932. She attended Stevens Point Normal School.
Following school, she worked for Hardware Mutual Insurance.
She was married to Joseph E. Siebert on Nov. 12, 1938, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death.
In 1962 she went back to work for Sentry Insurance until her retirement.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Altar Guild and a life member of the Portage County Historical Society. She was a member of “the Club,” a knitting group that began during World War II to knit items for the troops.
She sang for weddings at St. Paul Lutheran Church in earlier years.
Survivors include one son, Timothy (Judy), Stevens Point; one daughter, Nancy Siebert, Manitowoc; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Crystal Bowen.
