Mary E. Ladick, 59, Stevens Point, a retired Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools teacher, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Stevens Point.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Convent Chapel in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Tom Lindner of Newman University Parish officiating.
Visitation was scheduled to be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel and from 3 p.m. Friday until the Mass.
Donations in her name should be given to Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools, 1004 First St., Stevens Point, WI 54481.

Mrs. Ladick was born Sept. 26, 1952, in St. Paul, Minn., a daughter of Othmar and Rita Hasenohrl. She grew up in Marshfield. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1970 and from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1974.
She was married to David Ladick on Sept. 1, 1973.
She was a life-long educator and served as a teacher for Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools for many years, receiving the Golden Apple Award as a Teacher of Distinction in 2009. She taught second grade at both St. Joseph Elementary School and later St. Stanislaus Elementary School. She retired in 2011.
She continued her ministry to the community as a Love and Logic facilitator.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ryan (Amanda) and Corey; her parents; two sisters, Teresa and Debbie (George); two brothers, Steve (Judy) and David (Nancy); and two granddaughters.
