Harris E. “Chris” Christenson, 84, Glenview, Ill., a former Nelsonville and Stevens Point resident, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home in Glenview, Ill. Interment was private.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Thursday until the service.

Mr. Christenson was born and raised in Nelsonville. He later moved to Stevens Point.
He was married to D. Ione.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Linda (Paul) Peters; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
