Ronald Allen Allison, 63, Lake Tomahawk, son of a Plainfield couple, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations should be made to the Lakeland Pantry, Woodruff, or the Engaged Citizenship Scholarship Fund at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP).

Mr. Allison was born Sept. 19, 1948, in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of Robert and Annabelle Allison. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and attended UWSP before serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1973. He returned to school in 1975.
He was married to Nancy Bayne in 1976.
He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service before becoming disabled.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Galen Bayne-Allison, Lake Tomahawk, Braden Bayne-Allison, Rhinelander, and Daniel Trifone, Madison; his parents, Plainfield; two sisters, Linda Klingforth, Plainfield, and Janet Hansen, Wisconsin Rapids; and one brother, Charles, Wisconsin Rapids.
