An 11-year-old document stating a highway and dam project in the village of Whiting were “satisfactorily completed,” despite their failure nearly a decade later, is no longer missing.
Portage County Executive Patty Dreier announced Wednesday, Sept. 12, that officials from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) have provided the county with the “missing” document, weeks after they said local officials at a number of different municipalities should have already had it.
