For the last two weeks, our layout staffer has been on vacation. This means that yours truly is the one who has to take up the slack. For those of you who may not know, The Gazette is not put together by little elves that come in the middle of the night. No, The Gazette is put together every week by a very hard-working and dedicated group of individuals who want to make sure you get a great paper each week.
In order to do that on a tight budget, we all have to wear many hats here. We do have a part-time receptionist, who does myriads of other jobs, but we all take turns greeting customers who stop in. Some of us are better at it than others, and there is a very good reason that this is not my primary job. Customer service has never really been my thing, so if you stop in and I’m the only one there to be able to help you, I apologize in advance. Just remember, I’m doing the best I can.
