Eva C. Kurkowski, 76, Almond, a former clerk/treasurer for the village of Almond, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Almond, with the Rev. Brian Roehrborn officiating. Burial will be in Almond Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the service.
Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond assisted the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Kurkowski was born May 20, 1936, in Cudahy, a daughter of the late Herbert and Marguerite (Steele) Porst.
She was married to Norman E. Kurkowski on Oct. 2, 1954, in Heffron. He died on June 26, 2011.
She was the clerk/treasurer for the village of Almond for more than 20 years.
Survivors include three sons, Robert, Wausau, Bruce (Tamara), Stevens Point, and Brad (Tina), Plover, two brothers, Ronald (Marilyn) Porst, Cudahy, and Herbert (Carolyn) Porst, Dillsburg, Pa.; and one grandson.
