Matthew Adam Brucker, 25, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, as the result of a car accident in the town of Stockton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, until the service.

Mr. Brucker was born March 20, 1987, in Oshkosh, a son of Sarah J. Brucker. He attended schools in Michigan, North Carolina and Florida where he excelled in his studies, sports and ROTC. As a young boy, he spent several months living in Jamaica with his Aunt Julie. As a teenager, he started working on a shrimp boat in the Gulf of Mexico out of Fort Myers Beach, Fla. He was first mate on the “Green Flash.”
He returned to Wisconsin in 2004.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah (Theo Hintzke) Brucker, New London; two brothers, Kyle Lee St. Martin, Stevens Point, and Dean (Danielle), Eaton, Colo.; two sisters, Genevieve (Salem Brunk) Brucker, Greeley, Colo., and Amanda St. Martin, Sacramento, Calif.; his grandmother, June Grunewald, Stevens Point; a stepfather, Mike St. Martin, Michigan; and his girlfriend, Natasha Caldwell-Thompson, Stevens Point.
