Ruth E. Suchon, 77, Birnamwood, a Stevens Point native, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo, with the Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating.
Visitation will be at Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday and again from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday. A parish wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Suchon was born April 25, 1935, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Sankey) Laskowski. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point in 1953.
She was married to Joseph Suchon on June 11, 1955, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
She worked for Bell Telephone Co. in Stevens Point and at Kraft foods in Antigo for 30 years. She ended her secretarial career by retiring from Bill Yoder-Coldwell Banker Realty in Antigo.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Antigo and the American Legion Post 3 Auxiliary.
Survivors including her husband; two daughters, Sharon Suchon, Antigo, and Donna (Dennis) Shimeck, Rhinelander; one sister, Lauretta (Marvin) Mayer, Menominee, Mich.; and two grandsons.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Germaine Tordrup; and one brother, Robert Laskowski.
