Norbert L. “Nubbs” Besiada, 62, 2556 Water St., Stevens Point, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the service.

Mr. Besiada was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Frank and Frances (Brefczynski) Besiada.
He entered the U.S. Army on July 17, 1968. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged on Feb. 21, 1971.
He was married to Linda Kropidlowski on July 8, 1972, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Joe, Appleton, and Bruce (LaChelle) and Gerald, both of Stevens Point; one daughter, Kimberly (Chad) Duda, Stevens Point, two brothers, Richard, Mosinee, and Jim, Green Bay; two sisters, Barbara (Joe) Schultz, Stevens Point, and Mary (Bill) Dunahee, Florida; and three grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Irwin and Jerome “Jerry.”
