Michael V. Kosobucki, 60, Amherst Junction, died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Custer, with the Rev. Jude officiating.
Visitation will be at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass. A general rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Mr. Kosobucki was born Dec. 18, 1951, in Rosholt, a son of the late Frank and Henrietta (Simonis) Kosobucki. He graduated from Rosholt High School.
He worked on area farms until beginning a job in commercial and residential construction around the U.S. and Canada until 1989, when he began work in maintenance at Pacelli High School where he worked with students through a work-study program.
He was married to Bonnie Beigel on Oct. 3, 1987, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Anthony; one daughter, Elizabeth Kosobucki; five sisters, Rita Chicks, Oak Creek, Deanna Zietlow, Eagle River, Lenore Kosobucki, Rosholt, Judy (John) Kastner, Berlin, and Celene Kosobucki, Stevens Point; and two brothers, Joseph (Ilse), New London, and Neil (Florence), Rosholt.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank.
