Bondene E. Darrow, 79, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at Wausau Manor in Wausau.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with Pastor David Guerrero officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. Monday until the service.

Ms. Darrow was born May 21, 1933, in Park Falls, a daughter of the late Floyd and Maude (Knowles) Darrow. She grew up there and attended the local schools.
She lived in various states, including Iowa, before settling in Stevens Point.
She was married to James Louis Volzka in 1953. They later divorced.
She worked for the Soo Line Railroad as a railroad crew transport driver until retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Randy (Florence) Volzka, Athens, Jeff Volzka, Phoenix, Ariz., and Keith Volzka, Greenville, S.C.; one daughter, Teena Turner, Greenville, S.C.; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Twyla; and one grandson.
