Central Rivers Farmshed and the Stevens Point Sculpture Park have teamed up to host Appetite for the Arts, a local art and local food fundraising event that will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Sculpture Park, 900 Second St. N., Stevens Point.
The event will include a chef competition, live music, a poetry slam, and community art projects and sculptures in the first in what organizers are hoping will become an annual event.
“The Stevens Point Sculpture Park (Board) looked to partner with us an awareness event,” said Ellen Larson, Farmshed marketing director. “We were very, very interested in doing something with them.”
