June M. Nowicki, 72, a resident at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards, mother of two Portage County women, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, following a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Private memorial services will be held.

Mrs. Nowicki was born June 1, 1940, in Reedsburg, a daughter of the late John and Florence (Olson) Waldo.
She was married to Alvin Nowicki on Feb. 28, 1960, in Reedsburg.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Linda Brost, Wisconsin Rapids, Kim Anderson, Nelsonville, and Rita Nowicki, Stevens Point; one son, Richard (Sabra), Nekoosa; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Skaramagos.
