Harry J. Helminiak, 90, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass. There will be a combined parish rosary with the Holy Name Society and Catholic Order of Foresters at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Helminiak was born May 14, 1922, in the town of Dewey, a son of the late Andrew and Cecelia (Hoffman) Helminiak. He attended local schools.
He was married to Margaret Kruzicki on Oct. 12, 1946, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She died on June 15, 1999.
He worked for Consolidated Papers (now NewPage) for more than 41 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Parish, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Stevens Point Evening Lions Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Cliff) Peltier, Stevens Point; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, seven sisters, three half-brothers and two half-sisters.
