Most people like to tell you about their accomplishments – things they’ve done that they consider noteworthy or important to them. I promise not to do that.
Instead, I want to spend a little time telling you about things I’ve never done. Mind you, in reviewing the list I drew up, I have very few regrets about not doing most of these things.
For example, I’ve never attended a NASCAR race. I have nothing against NASCAR or auto racing, but I just don’t find the sport entertaining. I recognize that many people do, however, and that’s fine by me. Watching for speeding cars to crash is not my thing.
I have never water skied although I did try once. When the speedboat took off to try to get me up on the skis, I somehow let my body get ahead of my legs and went head-first into the lake. Fortunately, I had enough sense to let go of the tow rope.
