Philip A. DiSalvo, 78, Park Ridge, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, following an extended illness.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service.

Mr. DiSalvo was born April 7, 1934, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Filippo and Rosalia (Vento) DiSalvo. He graduated from St. John’s Cathedral High School in Milwaukee.
He was married to Jacqueline Ann Gorecki on Sept. 12, 1953.
He worked for the Heil Co., and later as a salesman for Nationwide Paper. In November of 1967, they moved to Stevens Point, having accepted a position at Spectra Print Corporation, where he later became head of sales. After running his own business for several years, he joined a colleague at The Agency, a printing and advertising firm. He retired from the printing industry in the late 1990s.
Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Jean DiSalvo (Phil Goembel), New Berlin, Ann DiSalvo (Bruce Bayard), Ashland, Ore., Laura DiSalvo (Gregg Warren) and Ellen (Bob) Kearney, both of Stevens Point, Mary DiSalvo (Gene Check), Amherst Junction, and Paula (Tom) Lutz, Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Philip J. (Lynn), Stevens Point, John (Rachel), Green Bay, and Michael (Kim), Waukesha; one brother, Salvatore, Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
