Robert M. “Bob” Konieczki, 79, Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Stevens Point, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Sahayanathan Nathan officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Mr. Konieczki was born March 9, 1933, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Matthew and Theresa (Iwanski) Konieczki.
He served in the U.S. Army for three years during the Korean War, serving in Alaska.
He was married to Adeline Trzinski on June 2, 1956, in Stevens Point. She died on May 13, 2011.
He was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. for 39 years, retiring in 1994 as a maintenance supervisor. He started as a draftsman in the corporate engineering department.
He was an usher at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church for many years.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda (John) Musch, Sue (Gary) Hanneman and Kim (Trent) Brown, all of Wisconsin Rapids, Cindy (Tom) Spranger, Plover, and Karen (special friend Mike Draws) Bassett, Oshkosh; one sister, Dorothy (Greg) Kizewski, Stevens Point; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
