Loretta B. Kosobucki, 87, town of Franzen in Marathon County, a Portage County native, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway, with the Rev. Norman Boneck officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.

Mrs. Kosobucki was born May 3, 1925, in the town of Alban in Portage County, a daughter of the late Ignatius and Mary (Gabor) Frydach.
She was married to Norbert Kosobucki on June 5, 1943, in Rosholt. He died on Feb. 7, 2010.
They ran a dairy farm in the town of Franzen until their retirement.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway and was a member of the Rosary Society.
Survivors include four daughters, Kathleen (Leroy) West, Schofield, Janice (Roger) Kohn, Wausau, Marlene (Sid) Bavlnka, Rochester, Minn., and Karen (John) Hall, Woodruff; one son, Jerome, town of Franzen; one sister, Bernice (Eugene) Kaye, New Berlin; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald; and her brothers and sisters.
