Donald A. Boettcher, 83, Stevens Point, formerly of Nekoosa, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at the Stevens Point Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Nekoosa, with the Rev. Carl Kummer officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa, with military rites by Nekoosa Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5960.
Visitation will be at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the services.

Mr. Boettcher was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Albert and Jessie (Kuehl) Boettcher.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.
He was married to Betty Bork on Oct. 29, 1949, in Almond. She died on Feb. 4, 1979.
He was in the grocery business in Nekoosa beginning in 1950 and was the owner/operator of the Nekoosa IGA, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of the Nekoosa Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former Nekoosa auxiliary police officer.
Survivors include one daughter, Lorrie Richardson, Stevens Point; and two grandchildren.
