Daniel J. Passarella, Jr., 51, Almond, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, following a short battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Bishop Matthew Mallek officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mr. Passarella was born May 25, 1961, in Waupaca, a son of Daniel and the late Ursel (Kammann) Passarella.
He worked as a supervisor at Waupaca Pallet.
Survivors include two sons, Joey (Megan) and Daniel “DJ” (Sara), both of Waupaca; his father, Almond; two sisters, Carmen (Mark) Rasmussen, Deerfield, and Jackie (David) Habighorst, Waupaca; and five grandchildren.
