Joan Strike, 75, Bowler, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the Stevens Point Care Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt, with the Rev. Gregory Michaud officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.
The family will self-direct memorials.
Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society of Schofield assisted the family with arrangements.. Condolences may be offered online at www.mwcs.ws.
Ms. Strike was born April 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Ambrose and Bertha (Jelinski) Damask.
She was a licensed practical nurse at various nursing homes where she worked third shift.
Survivors include three sons, Steven (Cathy Tuomisto), Appleton, Scott (Paula Bragg-Alford), Adairsville, Ga., and Stuart (Missy), Neenah; one daughter, Susan (Jay) Quist, Stevens Point; one sister, Arlene (Charlie) Kurszewski, Galloway; and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony; one daughter, Sheryln; and one brother, Albert.
