Gordon August Finup, 91, Port Edwards, father of two Stevens Point women, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Edwards, with the Rev. Daniel Bohn officiating. Burial will be in Port Edwards Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Mr. Finup was born Aug. 28, 1920, in the town of Sigel in Wood County, a son of the late August and Magdalena (Ruess) Finup.
He was married to Doris Cline on Feb. 26, 1949. She died on Nov. 6, 2010.
He worked in the shipping department at Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company, retiring in 1982 after 33 years of service.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Edwards.
Survivors include three sons, Randy (Carol) and Greg (Debbie), both of Wisconsin Rapids, and David, Port Edwards; three daughters, Diane Dusenske and Marilyn (Ed) Bohen, both of Stevens Point, and Patty (Dale) Stainbrook, Briggsville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Corinne Finup and Camilla Stanton.
