Erna S. Thut, 88, Mosinee, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Sunday, July 29, 2012.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee, with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Wausau.
Visitation will be held at Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday.

Mrs. Thut was born Dec. 25, 1923, in Callon, a daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Falkowski) Nievenski.
She was married to John Buzinski on June 14, 1947, in Wausau. He died on Dec. 22, 1977.
She was married to Robert Thut on March 3, 1984. He died on March 6, 1999.
She and her husband John owned and operated Buzz’s Restaurant.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty (Jeff) Kitzerow, Stevens Point, and Sally (Randall) Haupt, Mosinee; three grandchildren; two stepsons, Bob (Pat) Thut, Green Bay, and Steve (Jodi) Thut, Wausau; one stepdaughter, Jane Ritacco, Sedalia, Mo.; and six stepgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, seven sisters and one stepgrandson.
