Eleanor T. Ostrowski, 88, Stevens Point, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ostrowski was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Rosholt, a daughter of the late Peter and Annastasia “Stella” (Pollack) Zelinski. She attended Rosholt area schools.
She was married to John Ostrowski on Nov. 21, 1942, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He died on Nov. 3, 1995.
She worked at the Worth Co. in Stevens Point, baked for weddings and cooked at many area restaurants. She retired from food service at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia (Jerry) Kubala, Amherst Junction, and Delores (Richard) Goretski, Wisconsin Rapids; four sons, James, Robert (Diane), Duane and Ken (Cheryl), all of Stevens Point; four brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Chet and Dan; three sisters, Esther Engebretson, Ann Stanchik and Kathy Delano; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Vern; three brothers, Alex, Henry and Tony; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
