Edward F. Tckowski, 98, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Wellington Place in Whiting.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Thomas Lindner officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church Saturday.
Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Tckowski was born March 17, 1914, in Wausau, a son of the late Felix and Bogumila (Tworkowski) Iczkowski.
He was married to Anna Wozniak on June 8, 1940, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. She died on July 10, 1991.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He entered the service on July 5, 1943, in Milwaukee. He served as a dispatcher and driver, earning the American Theater Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. His honorable discharge, at the rank of sergeant, took place on March 26, 1946, at Camp McCoy.
He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for 20 years before retiring.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1170, American Legion Post 6 and the Secular Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Tekowski, Stevens Point; and one sister, Dorothy Michelkamp, Wisconsin Rapids.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Donald; an infant daughter; and eight brothers and sisters.
