Dorothy L. Wallner, 84, Plainfield, mother of a Bancroft man, died Monday, July 2, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday.

Mrs. Wallner was born May 22, 1928, in West Allis, a daughter of the late Rev. Earl and Rev. Marion (Dumbleton) Johnson.
She was married to Donald D. Wallner on March 12, 1950, at United Methodist Church in Plainfield.
She worked outside of the home throughout her life.
She was involved with many community groups, including the Monday Morning Ladies Group and the Popcorn Girls.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Warren (Lia), Bancroft, and William (Sharon), Ripon; two daughters, Donna (Jim) Potter, Washburn, and Joan (Bob) Sullivan, Hancock; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Duane; one brother, Harold; and one grandson.
