Richard C. King, 74, Sun Prairie, formerly of Stevens Point, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, in Sun Prairie, with Monsignor Terrence Connors officiating. Burial will be in Sun Prairie Memory Gardens in Sun Prairie.
Visitation will be at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home in Sun Prairie from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.
Memorials can be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church or a charity of one’s choice.

Mr. King was born March 17, 1938, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Charles and Mary (Nemeth) King. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1956 and later from Madison Business College.
He was married to Ann Marie Jesberger on Nov. 8, 1958.
He worked for Wisconsin Central Center and Mendota Mental Health, retiring in 1994. He also worked for 50 years at Wisconsin Badgers football games.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Lynn), Sun Prairie, and Patrick (Sue), Waunakee; two daughters, Julie (Randy) Dahmen, Waunakee, and Susan (Mike) Culbertson, Sun Prairie; and eight grandchildren.
