Mildred M. Noel, 92, Wausau, the mother of a Stevens Point man, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Wausau, with the Rev. William Grevatch officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wausau.
Visitation was scheduled to be held at Brainard Funeral Home in Wausau from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the Mass.

Mrs. Noel was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Wausau, a daughter of the late William (Helen) Kopp.
She was married to John F. Noel in 1940 in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death.
They owned and operated Home Insulation Co. prior to retirement.
She was an active member of both the P.C.C.W. and The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. While residing in Treasure Island, Fla., she was a member of St. Jude’s Cathedral in St. Petersburg, Fla., where she served as past president of the Catholic Women’s Club. She was a member of the Wausau Women’s Club and the Wausau Country Club. She and her husband were the only members in Wausau of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. She attended many Serra Club functions with her husband both in the states and internationally.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Michael) Paul, Madison, three sons, Tom (Mary Lu), Minocqua, John (Patty), Stevens Point, and Kevin (Betty), Wausau; one brother, William “Bill” (Shirley) Kopp, Green Bay; one sister, Mary Pozorski, Wausau; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Seubert; and two brothers, Edward and William Kopp.
