Darlene Mae Tyjeski, 82, Wisconsin Rapids, mother of an Amherst woman, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Patrick Green officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mrs. Tyjeski was born April 8, 1930, in Wisconsin Rapids, a daughter of the late Seth and Viola (Harmacek) Ratelle.
She was married to Edward Tyjeski on May 8, 1954, in Wisconsin Rapids. He died Jan. 4, 2009.
She worked for Consolidated Papers in her younger years. She later worked for Fey Publishing, Ore-Ida, NEPCO and Georgia Pacific, retiring from there in 1990.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Tyjeski, Wisconsin Rapids, and Jody Stormoen, Amherst; one son, Dr. Jerome (Joanne), Beaver Dam; one sister, Sandra (Elroy) Reinicke, Wisconsin Rapids; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death one sister, Mary Ann “Pat” Neinfeldt.
