Catherine Marie Krutza, 52, Stevens Point, died Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Wausau Aspirus Hospice House, following a battle with cancer.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Krutza was born March 16, 1960, in La Crosse. She was adopted in Portage County by her late parents, Chester and Loretta (Simkowski) Laska. She attended St. Stanislaus and St. Joseph elementary schools and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1978. She later attended Mid-State Technical College where she obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
She was married to David Krutza on Feb. 15, 1986.
She had an extensive work career, including various restaurants and retail establishments. She worked at G&S Woodworking for the past 20-plus years.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Jennifer, Wausau; two sisters, Bonita (James) Kopchinski, Beldenville, and Tamara (William) Singer, Stevens Point; one brother, Todd (Desiree) Laska, Custer; and her grandmother, Laura Wolosek, Stevens Point.
