Ramona Elizabeth Kjer, 95, Plover, died Sunday, May 6, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Custer. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass. A general rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Kjer was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Custer, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Lukasavitz) Bronk. She grew up in Custer and attended school in Custer and Stevens Point. She earned a teaching degree from Central State Teachers College (now the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) and worked as a teacher as a young adult.
She was married to Myron “Mike” Kjer on Oct. 9, 1939.
They lived on the family homestead until they built a new home in Custer in 1958. She later worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 24 years, before retiring.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Altar Society. She also belonged to the Catholic Foresters.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
