Charles R. “Charlie” Bean Jr., 74, Royalton, a Stevens Point native, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with the Rev. Larry Gross officiating. Interment and military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Linwood Union Cemetery in the town of Linwood.
Visitation was scheduled to be held at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until the services.

Mr. Bean was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Charles R. and Emma M. (Barden) Bean Sr. He attended grades 1-8 at Linwood School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point in 1956.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 until 1959, spending most of his time in Turkey.
Mr. Bean worked at Gullikson Chevrolet and Cadillac Dealer, Soo Line Railroad, Whiting Mill-Millwright Program in Stevens Point, Lift in Green Bay, Pauly Cheese Co. in Green Bay, Curwood in New London, Kimtech in Neenah and RE & D in New London.
He was married to Kathy Glisczynski in 1959. They later divorced.
He was married to Helen Peterson in 1983. They later divorced.
Survivors include one daughter, Nichole (special friend Rodney Baumann) Bean, Watertown; one son-in-law, Pete Kuklinski; one stepdaughter, Linda (Tony) Abitz; and one stepson, Paul (fiancée Peggy Moline) Peterson.
