Susan H. “Suzi” Sannes, 65, a former Amherst Junction resident, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Wilson Medical Center in North Carolina.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andres Episcopal Church in Rocky Mount, N.C., with the Rev. George Greer officiating. Interment will be in Cape Cod, Mass., at a later date.
Visitation will be at the church after the services Monday.

Mrs. Sannes was born March 29, 1947, in Worcester, Mass. She grew up as a 13th generation Hinckley in the town of Cummaquid, Mass.
She served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam era and was active in the Marine Corps League Tri-County Detachment 1262 of Rocky Mount, N.C.
She was married to David Sannes.
She managed a small farming operation and family interstate trucking company in Amherst Junction.
In Wisconsin, she served as a troop leader in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and with the Amherst Area First Responders. She served on the vestry for Church of the Intercession in Stevens Point, and for St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Rocky Mount, N.C., where she moved to in 1996.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lisa Graff, Wisconsin Rapids, and Lori Sannes, Raleigh, N.C.; one son, Bryan, Sims, N.C.; one sister, Janis Gutchigian, New Jersey; one brother, John David Hinckley, Florida; and five grandchildren.
